The Northeastern Track and Field program will head to Henry G. Steinbrenner Stadium this weekend, home of the MIT track and field teams, to compete in the New England Outdoor Championships.

Following one of the best outdoor seasons in program history, the men's track and field team claimed its first Colonial Athletic Association championship since joining the conference with an impressive set of finishes during the final day of competition.

Following the first day of competition, both the men and women's teams are in second place after several outstanding performances in multiple events.

The Northeastern track and field teams will head to Williamsburg, Virginia, the home of William & Mary, to kick off the outdoor postseason with the Colonial Athletic Association championships.
