Northeastern women's track and field freshman Lucy Young finished eighth in her flight, and 20th overall, in the 3000-meter steeplechase at the NCAA East Preliminary Round on Friday night at Hodges Stadium. With weather delays throughout the second day of the regional meet, Young's race was pushed back nearly one hour before the rookie posted a time of 10:23.26 in the third and final flight of the evening.
