The Northeastern athletics department has captured three conference championships and three regular season titles in 2014-15, but the Huskies added another accolade to its trophy case on Wednesday: its highest cumulative grade point average in more than 10 years. As a whole, Northeastern student-athletes recorded a cumulative GPA of 3.19 for the spring semester. In addition, 52 student-athletes earned "Top Dog" honors for posting grade point averages of 3.8 or above, while 25 recorded a perfect 4.0 GPA in the spring. NU had 111 student-athletes named to the Dean's List, as well. Northeastern's work in the classroom marks the 15th straight semester that student-athletes have posted a cumulative grade point average above 3.0.
